ganondorf901
I've been tweaking my ENB and FXAA setting for the past 3 hours, and the only thing keeping my settings from being perfect are the shadows. Even in broad daylight it's impossible to make out any detail of anything underneath the shadows and characters' faces are unrealistically dark because of it. I've tried countering it with other ENB/FXAA settings that I actually know how to use and just the regular brightness slider, but they barely alleviate the problem and severely effect other areas. In the ini for ENB, there is a section for shadows, but I'm not quite sure what each value does and messing around with it myself hasn't shown any major changes. Is there any way I can lessen the intensity of the shadows? Edited January 29, 2012 by ganondorf901
MShoap13
In your Skyrim config files, increasing the value of blurdeferredshadowmask will have some effect on the darkness of shadows (depending on what you currently have it set on, anything past 4 or so isn't really noticeable). I'm not familiar with ENB's config though.

EDITI ask that because I'd like to know for my own use.For your problem, list your ENBseries .ini and I will probably be able to tell you what to change, if it's similar to mine. I had that problem at first as well, where most objects in shadows would be almost black. Edited January 30, 2012 by Rennn
