Skagg
I decided to convert a armor to fit this body ive been using which had no armors converted for it and I've run into quite a few blocks as I am pretty new to oblivion modding as a whole but have a little experience with blender. Here's what im working on (attachements below) I followed this turotial here. http://wiki.tesnexus.com/index.php/Blender_import_and_export_armor_for_Oblivion the second time I edited this armor and to get it exported into a nif file but it just ended up not exporting and I kept getting a error message about armature envelope skinning or something like that The first time I tried another tutorial http://grotto.moddersrealm.com/index.php?topic=9519.msg186407#msg186407and when i followed this one I ended up in the game equipping the armor only to find that my character had no torso at all just a pair of hands a head, legs and feet. I would really appreciate it if somebody preferably a modder who is used to resizing armors would give me a step bye step set of instructions that I could use to get my edited mesh to replace the original which I was trying to resize and replace. The point im at now is I pretty much have this armor mesh in blender with no skeleton attached to it its just a torso. Any help or advice is of course much appreciated. Nephenee13
Ok, first of all as far as I know the NIFScripts only work for Blender 2.49, you are using 2.61. NIFScripts I don't know if its different for 2.61, but your skeleton looks all messed up, you should delete the skeleton before you work on a mesh, then parent a new skeleton when preparing to export. At least, thats how I do it.
