madman132 Posted April 10, 2008 Posted April 10, 2008 I think its for a bit more immersion. 'Times persuaded' seems a bit odd, as persuading someone (in reality) comes in many forms. I think they added 'Jokes told' as a way of tracking persuasion because its sounds normal (although I don't know who the hell would COUNT that). By the way, if there are other things in that list that break immersion I've forgotten about them.I would have been "Times tried to persuade". Maybe the player is to dump to figure the minigame out :D "Jokes told" is better in my Opinion. Now i wish to hear the Jokes the Playershar tells the People :D Maybe in the next TES :D
Povuholo Posted April 10, 2008 Posted April 10, 2008 Maybe they added it when they had an older version of the persuasion system, that didn't force you to Admire, Boast, Joke, and Coerce all in one conversation. Bethesda what were you thinking? :wallbash:
Khadir Posted April 11, 2008 Posted April 11, 2008 I am curious to what kind of jokes a paid assassin could tell to a guard... "It's me. I kill you."
