Algabar
i heard that remaster version is not very support for old mod is it true? There are a lot of threads on this topic here and on other sites, but NVM... Currently, the Skyrim Script Extender (SKSE) isn't out for Skyrim SE yet. This means, mods depending on SKSE currently won't run on SE. After SKSE is out(which might be soon), mods will have to be adjusted. So, in short: No SKSE support for SE right now. Basically, this means: No MCM menu yet. A lot of mods formerly dependent on SKSE were released for SE with alternate ways of configuration (mostly book menus). Works, but not as comfortable as with MCM... Second point to consider: The current ENB build for Skyrim SE doesn't have all the features we are used to from the latest "Oldrim" binaries. Not a big problem IMHO, since you can get very decent visuals with the current binary and ENB presets and/or Reshade. Third: Skyrim SE is MUCH more stable and runs overall smoother on 64bit systems than "oldrim". In the end it comes down to this: Can you live without SKSE support (and mods depending on SKSE)? If so, go SE, else play "Oldrim".
Skagens
There are currently not a lot of mods for SE but I know a few of the most popular ones exist, like Immersive Armors, SMIM, Flora Overhaul etc. It depends on what kind of play-through you're planning on doing. If you wish to play a very mod heavy version the go Oldrim, if not, go Special Edition. SE is considered to be superior in every way but if you're like me, who play with 50+ mods, then chances are more than one of the mods you use doesn't exist for SE yet. I would recommend you to be patient. Like I said, SE is considered superior in every way and as Algabar stated, it runs a lot smoother and is more stable.
