ProjectVRD Posted January 30, 2012 Share Posted January 30, 2012 (edited) In the movies and books, this sword allowed that nerdy Neville bloke resist a full on blast from the bad guy, Voldermort. This was once Voldermort had found the most powerful wand ever created and he was already the most power wizard when finding it. Perhaps someone can create the Sword of Griffondor and that it would work for only one race? One race because the Sword would only obey "a true son of Grifindor", meaning that one race a modder chooses gets a 95% resist magic when blocking with it? In Skyrim lore it would be classed as a Steel Great Sword by the way, and it wouldn't offer 100% resistance because that Neville bloke was still propelled about 30 meters and knocked unconscious... but he should have disintegrated without it protecting him. Also, it had the strength to decapitate that snake thing when as the Potter type destruction spells just bounced off it so I assume it would deliver better damage than lets say... the Skyforge Steel Sword.
