KimCheeWarrior
@ David Brashermost of the fun in games like oblivion is leveling up. if i just easily gave myself a higher security level then what fun would that be? i wanna make it easier, not have the console do it for me. Zapata935
One of the first things I do with a new character is to get access to the spellmaking altar and create a Fortify Security 100pts for 1 sec as soon as possible. Under the effects of the spell, a Very Hard lock becomes five Very Easy locks. Since time doesn't pass while picking locks, 1 second is plenty. While you're there, make yourself a Fortify Armorer 100pts for 1 sec for unbreakable repair hammers. :)
Zapata935
Someone has released a mod from Skyrim about real time lock picking, sadly it is just a shortcut to the desktop. i.e crash to the desktop for people with XP, or old PC's. The dynamics of Skyrim are based around the power of X-Box and Playstation. We will have to wait and perservere for PC tollerances! Balakirev
Someone has released a mod from Skyrim about real time lock picking, sadly it is just a shortcut to the desktop. i.e crash to the desktop for people with XP, or old PC's. What mod? I've never heard of a mod that causes CTDs because of an "old" OS or PC, and I've been involved in the modding communities of both Morrowind and Oblivion since they started--and now, in Skyrim. This doesn't mean I'm right, but I'd think in trying out far, far too many mods by now (I always run to the maximum allowed), I'd have heard of such a condition. :) Rather, it sounds as though either something is wrong in the mod itself, or there are issues of too little RAM, or mod conflicts.
