sgman1
Anybody here aware of any mods that severely cripple the games combat AI. I've installed a bunch of mods and I don't have the time to list them right now. I'll list them in a post later but the ones I think I could pin it on so far might be Deadly Dragons, Duel and PISE. Basically most of the humanoids or any character that can block are block-happy and keep blocking nearly all of the time. The game was a helluva challenge on earlier saves of mine at master setting even against bandit marauders and lower level bandits because they didn't have to think about blocking and the higher level ones would simply just swing their two-handers once or twice and take me out. But now that they are all blocking-crazy I just slowly whittle their health down while they take a lazy swing once every 20-30 seconds that I either easily dodge or just heal from and then I just take them out eventually. Why isn't the AI more aggressive? I mean that is sort of the only thing making master setting tough since nerfing the damage you dish out and increasing the damage you take only goes so far. Is this a bug or an unintentional result (though not quite the glitch) of an AI altering mod? Another thing I discovered on my new highly modded save is that bears are moving at a snails pace. I can just take a few swings, back off and heal and then go at it again, if not just lazily stand in one place and pepper them with arrows. What gives?
