aeonthraen Posted January 31, 2012 Share Posted January 31, 2012 So far Ive taken to turning off the auto-updater for Skyrim mainly because I love SkyUI to much. The default UI, as everyone knows, feels WAAAYYYY to much like console (XBOX, PS3) and found it extremely clunky. I'll just work with 1.3.1.1 for now until SkyUI and SKSE update for 1.4.0.2. Staind716 Posted January 31, 2012 Share Posted January 31, 2012 Since you are still running the 1.3 version of Skyrim you will need to update to the beta 1.4 in order to use the newer version of SKSE. Just click on Steam in upper left, click on settings, and there will be an option to join in the beta version. Click change and Skyrim beta then Steam will restart and download the new beta version. I've added quite a bit over the last few days, the amount of mods are overwhelming. Will Skyboost affect SKSE? I don't even know if Skyboost is helping...I added FXAA & Enhanced Shaders tonight, it shows my FPS as only about 10. :facepalm: Since you are still running the 1.3 version of Skyrim you will need to update to the beta 1.4 in order to use the newer version of SKSE.
