nofear88
I think it is the root of all my Ctds... game runs fine but just cuts to desktop with no warningIts Ram usage I think My cpu can only hold 2 Ram slots or what ever they are called and have 2 GB ram each. Unsure exactly but is it costly to add 4GB each or add more slots?
RitualBlack
It may be you have a 32bit OS. If you have 4gb installed and it is only recognizing 3 of it than the most likely thing would be your OS.
ProjectVRD
No fear, send me your specs (download CPU-Z and note the information it gives you about your hardware). The thing is if you are using 32-bit I assume you are using Vista or XP? If so, and you want to go to Windows 7 64-bit, then you may need to look at new hardware. I can advise as such. You can also ask a mod here if they will allow you to post your CPU-Z screen shots here on the Nexus so we can help you, but that is for them to decide if it is ok. GomuGomu64
You must really be using some hard-core background programs, or you have a memory leak.Skyrim doesn't get past 750MB of RAM Usage for me, and is usually around 450-500MB.

Although I understand I use a few mods, I once checked Task Manager and saw it was using about 2500MB. I was like... darn, better buy some more! Edited January 31, 2012 by ProjectVRD
scot
You must check if your motherboard supports more RAM if not you need to check your processor to get a new motherboard that allows you to have more RAM and then switch to a 64 bit system.I upgraded my system last week and that´s what I had to do.
