Poorly defended

Another thing, the AU mages do summon daedra. Undead is the domain of necromancers, not daedra, and anyone who got that confused is a real moron.

Again you show reason why you have 2 strikes already. Anybody makes mistakes.

Anyway, if I were to attack Cyrodiil I most certainly won't do it while the other provinces still support it. I would spread lies and try to gain the other provinces as allies in battle against Cyrodiil. What I'd do is send Dark brotherhood or morag tong members to take out the counts, guard captains and any other figures of authority, then I'd launch raiding attacks against the cities, with the aim to burn them down. And then my final assualt would begin. Maybe it would then be a good idea to take the cities as bases of operation and then start to march on the IC, or cut them off from their supplies and wait for them to either resort to cannibalism and save you the effort, or surrender.

Also, one of the first steps to invading is usually to break the defenders and the citizens courage, wich makes them less willing to die for what they believe is right. And getting inside agents to spread lies can be helpful in getting them to fight against their own city...

The only siege weapon I've seen so far is the daedra juggernaut thingie in the Oblivion Gate (Battle of Bruma)

I believe that alone can ransacked the whole province...provided they can't reach the Oblivion core

Actually that transmits a nice atmosphere in my opnion. The cities themselves are well-guarded on the inside, beyond that it's wilderness... dangerous wilderness. You leave the safe city, you are on your own.

Its no use discussing how any invading force would attack or how the Battles would be fought.

What the Player can do and what the Lore can do are two completly different Things.

A Mage could cast a Feather effect on a Rock being hurled against the City Walls. Now it has zero Weight. Screw Catapults :D

As i said earlier, the Imperial Province is surrounded by friendly forces, so theres no need for Large Army Bases.

Still, it would be nice to have at least some Forts in use. Imperial Legion Soldiers may be good, but they have to be trained somewhere. Have an Instructor yell some Commands and a Group of Legion Recruits screaming "Hia!" when practicing strikes.

Something like that would be nice.

The whole Thing wouldnt be an Issue if there werent so many ruined Forts in Cyrodiil. Every single one is in ruins. You would think that the Blades would keep Sancre Tor in good Shape, so it wouldnt be as ruined as every single Fort in Cyrodiil. But then, you would also think that the Blades would send the Largest Force they can muster to cleanse the Place. Its the sacred Resting Place of Tiber Septims Armor, after all.

I would have like to see a fort which is in use. Just to see how the Thing looks like in its full glory.
