NicotineCaffeine
Hi guys. I guess this question has never been asked, but i really would like to know if it is possible on Oblivion to disable the automatic weapon sheathing when your character sits? forli
Normally, this is impossible, as in Oblivion, while sitting or riding, you can't enter the fight stance (raise fists/unsheath weapon) at all. It's an hardcoded limitation you can't remove with a simple esp/esm.Esp/Esm files could only try to emulate the behaviour by playing a custom animations, and someone even tried to do so, but the results were quite bad in my opinion, because that's only an imitation. You're not really in a fight stance and you're not really attacking, but everything just "appear" as a combat stance and attack. A dll instead, can do it. Oblivion Reloaded is an example: (among tons of other changes) it unlocks the ability to unsheat your weapon and fight while riding (you really enter combat stance and attack, they're not simple imitations). I'm not sure if it also works while sitting, but you could try.
NicotineCaffeine
Wait, i've tried and as matter of fact it works. Not EXACTLY as i want, but it does. (The character autosheats the weapon when he seats but then you can unsehat it and you're done)Now i've only to understand how fix the settings since my poor pc has some hard times with the graphic enhancements of oblivion reloaded...Thanks for the help, by the way. Edited March 22, 2017 by NicotineCaffeine
