dark27
I have ran into a problem with some NPCs being unarmed, it was noticeable after installing the Wars in Skyrim III but I am unsure if it was that one 100%. I even unloaded all mods one by one but now my saved games always load with every Giant having no clubs, they are defenseless. I have run into other NPCs having this issue but not as much as giants and basically it changes the game entirely. I guess the only thing to try is go through the whole process of a new game but even then I wouldn't want to play this game anymore if that's the case, is there any kind of way to get weapons back into the hands into the NPCs that need it most lol, giants just run away now and threaten with empty hands, it's terrible. I'm running 1.3.10 had more issues with 1.4 about graphical things. http://img6.imageshack.us/img6/3008/hazweapon1a.jpghttp://img100.imageshack.us/img100/6913/hazweapon2a.jpg Edited January 31, 2012 by dark27
Korodic
uhm. if you thought it was a mod, then you should have checked that mod's page, looked at the comments, and saw if others were reporting it. Otherwise it is a skyrim bug possibly. 1.4 is a beta patch, you should have known it was not entirely stable.

This happened well before 1.4 and I removed 1.4 that's not part of this really and I have no seen anything mentioned about it on the mod about weapon issues and I was wondering if it's a game issue, haven't found anything on it. SkyrimAmbassADurrr
The giants have gotten smarter...They knew you are only out to kill them and that they have no chance against you. They only wanted to live in peace as giants and sell their highly prized mammoth cheese at the market. But you puny human attack them in their home land camps from afar with arrows and magic and strange shouting that hurdles even their massive bodies through the air, sears and burns their flesh, and freezes them like doves caught in a sudden blizzard. They thought they could crush you but learned and had to accept they were all but defenseless as their Giant kin piled up around them by your hand. They had a war council of what to do. Deciding the best course of action was to put aside their honor and pride, lay down their arms and flee! Abandoning even their primitive weapons to run as fast as they could for the mountains of their ancestral homeland. They had a dream they could co-exist with man, but for all of mans military ingenuity and bloodthirsty weaponry, they saw that with their clumsy weapons and vastly inferior giant intelligence, they were of no match for man and their animalistic murderous ways. The dream was over and they had to retreat to the mountains to stay alive...

Lol thanks, this helped me in other ways and gave me an explanation of why it's possibly happening, or a lovely story to the pics, I like it. The game is still wacky though and is not as fun and stuff me sad very very mooch me no want to play until maybe solution. I think the saved games are permanently this way now I'll have to try a new game to see if it's the entire game but the blah blah at the intro takes awhile I'll have to try at a later date not much time right now, lol thanks though epic story :D Edited January 31, 2012 by dark27
GomuGomu64
If you want to go the tedious route, open up skyrim.esm, find all the npcs you want to have weapons, and add 'em in. :P

Does this game save that data in saves at all? Just wondering. I'll try this though thanks.
