droogie502
Essentially what the title says. Recently did a substantial upgrade. Processor power, RAM, and video card especially are no longer an issue.I want my Skyrim to look as best as it possibly can, but i've only used ENBoost (due to my previous specs) up til now.I'd like to hear you recommendations for ENBs, light mods, weather mods, whatever. Is ti truly worth it to upgrade to Skyrim Special Edition? Should I get the high texture pack?Lay some knowledge down on me =]
Direcat4165
I'd recommend you follow DonProtein's ultimate modding guide http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/76373?It is an excellent and thoroughly comprehensive guide to graphical overhaul (he has another guide to gameplay mods too). My only reservation on this mod list is the 4k parallax terrain - it's gorgeous, but turned large chunks of my game to a slideshow. On the other hand, if you have a monster graphics card and run on Windows 7, you'll probably be fine. I also use Inside The Nebula for my night sky replacer rather than his recommendations. As to ENB/Weather, I can't recommend Rudy ENB for NLVA enough - it really does have most of the effects turned on and provide decent performance. Elder Blood Redux and Rampage are also stunningly beautiful, and Aeon for NLVA provides the best night skies I've seen.NLVA is my favourite weather mod - volumetric snow that lights up in firelight plus selective cloud colouring to enhance dusk and dawn and the best assets out of Vivid Weathers (my second favourite), including Gamwich's cloud textures. I also use Wonders of Weather for fork lightning, sheet lightning, rainbows and shooting stars. Of course, neither Rampage nor Elder Blood are compatible with other weather mods.Hope this helps. Direcat4165
Oh yeah - for eye candy, I'd stick to Oldrim for the time being; Special Edition ENB doesn't currently support parallax or subsurface scattering, plus there's a whole slew of mods that won't be available until SKSE 64 comes out.
