So if I go through my program oblivion/data, i cant actually find the 'data' folder.

 

But when I download a mod, and go to extract something into the data folder, it shows up through winrar.

 

Then when i go to play the game and click data files, the mod(s) dont show up.

 

 

Whats going on?

Are you running the D2D version or a cd version? Unfortunately, the D2D won't allow you to install mods, as it encrypts the game files.
