Adding items to merchants via SkyEdit

The title basically states what I am attempting to do. Or rather, what I have attempted to do.

I'm trying to add armour pieces into the shop inventory of the innkeeper at the Bannered Mare

I manually added every single piece of armour that I wanted into MerchantWhiterunBanneredMareChest which is the container for the inn vendor, I believe.

A quick check on TESVSnip showed me 50 CNOTs, which is the exact amount of armour pieces that I added via SkyEdit.

However, when I go ingame, Hulda doesn't display the armour pieces I included at all.

Can anyone figure what steps I'm missing or what I'm doing wrongly?

Make sure that in skyedit that it didn't try to add 0 pieces of each armor, like it has for me before, also, it may be because that vendor does not sell armor naturally?

Try adding "VendorItemFood" as a keyword to one of the armour pieces and see if she stocks it.

Normally certain vendors won't stock certain items. I haven't found a way to change what items they stock but I'm pretty sure you can cheat the system by giving items another vendoritemkeyword.

I had to do it with my fletching mod. That was for just one new misc item though so I'm not sure how this will behave with armour pieces.
