Raptre Posted July 29, 2003 Share Posted July 29, 2003 Say you are going to make your own elven type race. For example we'll make a copy of the .nif file used for the wood elves and rename it, then load it up in NIF Texture. NIF Texture will then show you the texture files associated with that .nif file. Then you'll want to open up the textures in your favorite paint program (Photoshop, PSP, PhotoImpact, etc...). Edit the textures as much as you want, just try to keep the same basic layout as the original. Save the new textures as a different name as the originals and then (using NIF Texture) associate your .nif file to your newly created textures.
