how to add the mods

i am very new to the modding community and i have downloaded nexus mod manager and downloaded some mods but when i start up the game and click on the mod section there are no mods?

i am confused on what to do now please help me.

Others may have better information but this is what I have.

 

In NMM you have two tabs Plugins and Mods. When you download a mod it will go into a category of the Mod tab, make sure it has a green check mark next to it. This shows that it is activated. If not highlight that mod and click the large green check mark to activate that mod.

 

Now go to the Plugins tab and make sure that you see the mod you just activated and make sure it has a check mark next to it. If not check it.

 

Now your mods will show up in the game. If you click on the Mods section from the game that may only be for mods you get from Bethesda and not mods from other places. I do not use Bethesda for mods so I cannot say for sure, but follow the NMM advice and your mods will work. Good luck.
