BlazeLeeDragon
Ok so I'm almost done, I finally got my new weapon into the game, looks good in geck with my textures...however when I load it has no texture AT ALL...it's all grey...so I noticed all these other mods with new weapons have a main texture photo and then a second one at least that is the same name but under score n. the n dds file is all blue, how do I create this image of my texture? kingtitan
The _n notation denotes a texture's normal map. Gives it "definition" persay. I have never done much with actually editing normal maps, but I can tell you how to create one very easily! If you don't already have the program GIMP, go ahead and get it now. I think you will also need a .dds plugin for GIMP (just google it and you should be able to find it, generally they come bundled). Anyway, once you have installed GIMP, go ahead and open up the texture that needs a normal map. Now to create the map:1) Go to Filters2) In the submenu, Map3) In that submenu click normalmap (this is with the plugin installed, if the plugin is missing then that option will not show up). This opens a dialogue box with a lot of options. Unless you know what you are doing, I suggest not changing much at all. Anyway, the rest is cake since it is just a matter of saving and putting in the correct folder. Good Luck!

kingtitan
I don't believe so (buddah knows more about it than me). I say that because I have an Intel HD Graphics card and I have no issues.
