zerther
I think this happened after I downloaded this mod http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=5458, but now while moving across the outside world, world pieces tend to load rather crudely... where in the distance i see a less detailed set of trees or mountain, then when I get close to it, all of a sudden pop the detail is there... its rather gamebreaking.. im messing around with settings in the ini, but i havent found a fix for it yet. anyone else have this problem? know of what setting i have to change to make the world load smoother and unnoticeably? MShoap13
That version is intended for Silent Hill 5. Grab the version for Skyrim. v0096 is just a bug/freeze fix and the newest v010x is a bug fix and graphical enhancement.

And sadly details were still popping up obnoxiously. Edited February 2, 2012 by zerther
MShoap13
That probably is the newest version. He doesn't even mess with the config files for people any more as he got a lot of people complaining about it. He'd fix what they complained about and then someone else would complain about that... There's a ton of ENB preset configs available here on the Nexus and I know it's possible to config it yourself. If you'd rather avoid the config, etc. but you want the freeze/lag fixes just get v0096.
Staind716
I recently started using the Confident ENB mod and I think it looks incredible. Saves a lot of trying to configure everything yourself but you can still make changes if there is any part of it you are not crazy about. So far this is the best config I have found for what I am looking for.

Rennn
Oh yeah, be sure to disable indirect lighting as well, unless you own a supercomputer. I compared side by side screenshots, and the only noticeable difference is that I lose 20 fps when I turn on Indirect Lighting. I was unable to find a visual difference, besides the shadows just being a tiny shade lighter with IL.
