If there were a war of the races

if the battle were brought to the nordic lands, dont forget the imfamous reiklings, theres sssooooo many, wether they work with the nords or not they would most likely attack an invadeing force, seeing the intruders as possilbe enemies, and the purely hostile lands of the north would probably bring about more deaths on the invader's side than any possible battle casualties, though this was stated earlyer that whom ever had to do the defending would probably win, but then again, look at the conflict between the nords and dunmer, the dunmer were on home turf, yet they got the crap beat out of em by the nords, and there after for quite a while the nords reighned over Vvardenfell, and Morrowind... till those bloody dunmer took it all back that is......

Riklins wouldn't be able to do alot of damage to an army, they could only harrass. They would be good at attacking transports and supply convoys delaying supplies to the army. :P

I voted for Nords; not because I think they'd be able to conquer Morrowind, but because they would not be able to be taken over.

Imperials would win in a battle in Morrowind, not only by strength of base skills, but by numbers alone. There must be some 250 Imperials in Morrowind out of a total of like 1000 people of mixed races. Added in are their well-rounded base skills, which makes it possible for them to not only dominate in the hand-to-hand combat, but they can also hold their own on the Marksman standpoint. The only area that most races can beat them in would be the Magika. But their magika STILL beats the Nords and the Orcs, which are their only physical challengers. And if I had to pick the last two standing, it would be the Imperials and the Dark Elves.

IN morrowind there are more than 2 times the number of imperials. Dunmer are in every city you visit and the imperials are only in about half. How could the imperials win through numers like that.

Morrowind is an Imperial Providence, not the capitol. In Cyrodiil, there are many times the number of Imperials than in Vvardenfell.

There position in their capital is horrible and would lead to their downfall since this is if all races were against eachother (read read my last post on page 4 for the reason why i say that they would loose). Also you mentioned the number of imperials in morrowind being so large that they could drfeat the dunmer and i simply stated that their numbers in morrowind is pointless when pinned against the dunmer. The imerials would probably be the first to go on the land of tamriel.

Look in the CS for 'Imperial'. here is the count:

 

Imperial Archers: 8

Imperial Captain: 3

Imperial Guard: 48

 

that is a whopping 59 Imperial Soliders!!! My gads, I fear for the Imperial Presence in Vvardenfell.

 

And where are those little Imperials?

 

At the Daedric Shrines duking it out?

No.

In the tombs, finding great treasures?

No.

Hiding behind walls, even though they have no porticullis to defend the entrance? Yes.

 

 

If for all of Vvardenfell they send 53 Imperial Soliders, how many do they send to other provinces? especially the provinces with extremely rough terrain...

 

What does that mean? The Imperial Presence is not there. At any time the other races lead a unified revolt, bye bye Cyrodil. Do you know jow easy it would be to lay siege to that city? With only Jungle surrounding it, so there is no way to get out and know where you are? It would be simple.

 

I dont know how to end this, so...

Jungle terrain is a difficult field-just ask the vietnam vets. and lets assume that they are more stratigic in the defense of their own city.plus, its not like the other races are MORE numerous than the imperials in Vvardenfell. but they imperial province is also in the middle of the continent, and therefore vulnerable to a swarm of all other races unified. which, of course, would never happen because they all hate each other.

Even if the other races were not united they would still loose with their position on tamriel.

 

If 1/3 of all the people of each race faught the enemies to one of their land and 1/3 other side with 1/3 attacking the imerial center in the middle, the imperials would have no chance. They would have ti defend all of their borders against the might of 1/3 of all the other armies. With there being more than 3 other races the numbers sent against the imperials would out number that of the imperials. The imperials would basically be facing the power of more 2 full armies if you do the math.

Saying the imperials would win because they have a large empire and there are many, is as stupid as saying the British Empire would have never lost due to it being one of the largest empires in history. Also stupid as saying that America should have lost the Revolution.
