Still even if the dunmer do not unite the other races of tamriel would surely kill the imperials. The imerial province is the most seceptible to attackes and would easily be destoryed especially with most of their people occuping land in the other provinces.

Erm, the whole place is Tamriel. Morrowind takes place on Vvardenfell

Ancient Dunmeri ways say that in times of War the Great Houses will stop fighting each other and turn on whoever is attacking them. (That is, assuming, that there is a Hortator chosen)

It's like u said: IF they unite and even if they do I don't see that the corrupt hlaalu will stop acting it is now nor that the tribals will forget.

 

Whoever did the main quest and united the dunmer again knows there is no difference. Hlaalu remains corrupt, Telvanni keeps finding them better than the others and the Tribals remain separated from the others.

 

No mather what storys say, you cannot unite a people that has been divided for 1000 years and that has been fighting and betraying eachother. It's just impossible...

 

And we all now that the dunmer, especially Hlaalu are far more corrupt than the Imperials, mostly thanks to their Cammona Tong.

Im certainly not sure, but It depends on how serious Dunmer take such times. If they are raised seeing it like a myth they simply wouldn't understand the meaning of a hortator or neravarine. On the other hand they could see the Neravarine or Hortator as a forecaster of dark days and really take this serious becouse their extinction might be near. Though I have to say if it would be 1 on 1, Imperial versus Dunmer the Dunmer would be whiped out, it is the simple fact that the Imperials want to take control of everything that they will be attacked by everyone first.

 

I have to say orcs might have a chance too, their numbers can be immense and their armoring skills can not be beaten by imperial smiths also the brute strength might save them. Imagine yourself as an Imperial behind your shield wall and then think of what a 100 kg weighing hammer would inflict on these lines. Shattered shields and arms, imperials running away for the ferocity of the orcs (or not).

 

I think the battles will be pretty close and after near extinction of 3/4 races it wil end in a draw.

And what is the Cammona Tong's purpose again? Oh yeah, to drive the N'Wah outlanders from Morrowind.

You have to remember, the Imperials did not take Morowind by force. They were so severely beaten they had to make a treaty with the Dunmer so they could reside in Morrowind.

The imperials would be the first to go with their presence in all the other provinces which has weakened their own. Their homeland is in such a bad position that they would be easily wiped out. Once all their forces in all the other provinces are destroyed there would not be many left to guard their home land. In the ened the imperials would loose and one of the other races would win.

if it would come to war it might not be the imperials but it defenitly wont be the dunmer. I'd say it would be the orcs indeed them. Born warriors and well known with warfare...

The dunmer even un united were stronger than the imperials. The imperials when they went on a conquest of tamriel had defaeted much of the other lands butr failed to take morrowind by force and the imperials had to form a treaty inorder to admit them into the empire. How could they loose when they were able to defeat the imperials before.

If anyone would care to look at warfare anyone could tell it wouldn't be the one race who is well rounded (dunmer) it is the smartest or the one with the most sheer power. Now the two top races in these are the Imperials and the Argonians. The Imperials have just a massive army that would make any race piss in their respective pants. Now the Argonians are good because of their guerilla tactics. The Arginians might win if they where in the right terrain like swamp or forest. Anywhere else the Imperials would wipe them of the face of the earth.
