If there were a war of the races

In the case of another world war, IMO the imperials would eventually win.

Nevermind magic and might in battle. What determines who will be the victor are discipline and startegy.

Imperial legions are the most ordered and disciplined in Tamriel. they have mages and priests to help them. The other races are desribed as either more chaotic or more divided/individualistic.

 

... which may be there downfall. The imperials great strategies has already been used. THe other races can watch how they did something, then easily prepare an attack against it. Once you have acted on a strategie, your enemies know it, and how to conquer it.

And those are high-class members of society. They would not go into battle and fight. They would sit back behind the lines and lead the wars. Most Nobles wouldn't even fight, they would just be nice to whoever is winning.

This is easy to answer actually... None of them would!

 

in one to one the Nords / Orks would be victorious. In battle they would be defeated by the imperial tactics, strategics and numbers. The dunmer get their strength out of their numbers. You see every kind has it's strength and weaknesses.

 

You can't just say they would win because you character is one. You got to look to what you see and learn in the game and make an objective opinion.

That's a bit of an assumption, Pack Rat. I said the Dunmer were likely to win by weight of numbers (and experience with hostile terrain). Yet I have never played as a dark elf (Breton, Nord and Imperial so far).

I agree, but I think the Imperial will make a hell of a stand against the Dunmer. Let's not forget they have entire Empire to get troops from, the Dunmer have Morrowind...

If you read the description above the poll Pack Rat, you see that the question is which race would win if they would form armies of their own.

You say the most races are outnumbered by the Imperials that's true but not relevant for this poll.

 

I think they can't stand their grounds against the Dunmer if they aren't in advance because of their numbers.

Actually the Imperials are more organized then the Dunmer you say the Imperials weapons suck well the dwenmer don't even have a standard issue weapon I think. What about those two people, they couldn't make a difference in a battle.

so is this just a war of the Tamerial races? because, otherwise, i think a race like those from Akavir would win. just a huge group of even huger dragons, flying at all the other races who are fighting amongst themselves just as much. and all of them would be doomed. :P

well yeah an army of dragons will totally burn everything in its path and slaughter all resistance.... but I think the war mentioned here is between the tamrielic races.

Maybe such a war would start because of akaviri spies stirring up chaose to prepare for the invasion.......

... there are dragons in Tamriel, who work with Imperials. But then again, if a bunch of Cliff racers could push Dragons out of Vvardenfell, then I think a few trained Dunmer could take them out...

if the battle were brought to the nordic lands, dont forget the imfamous reiklings, theres sssooooo many, wether they work with the nords or not they would most likely attack an invadeing force, seeing the intruders as possilbe enemies, and the purely hostile lands of the north would probably bring about more deaths on the invader's side than any possible battle casualties, though this was stated earlyer that whom ever had to do the defending would probably win, but then again, look at the conflict between the nords and dunmer, the dunmer were on home turf, yet they got the crap beat out of em by the nords, and there after for quite a while the nords reighned over Vvardenfell, and Morrowind... till those bloody dunmer took it all back that is......

But how do we know rieklings live in Skyrim? Solstheim isn't even supposed to be in the game, look at the official map, the people at Bethesda just threw it in. So I doubt their are Rieklings in Skyrim.
