Modifying Enchanted Weapon Charge Costs

Hi,

 

 

I've done several searches on this and have come up empty, so here I am. I would like to entirely remove the charge costs for all Daedric enchanted weapons (effectively make them like Ebony Blade where they still have an enchantment, but they don't require charges). I've been working on Dawnbreaker in SkyEdit, and I've been editing its effects. In short, I've changed its effect's "cost" parameter to 0 and even the individual effects' "base cost" parameters to 0 as well (for both the fire damage and the holy explosion effect). The weapon still consumes charges as if I had done nothing. I know the mod is working because I made some other quick changes to it (such as tweaking its damage) just to test that and those took effect immediately. Does anybody more familiar with SkyEdit know how to remove charge costs from enchantments or have any explanations for what the Unk variables are (I haven't messed with those cause I don't know what they do)? I'd greatly appreciate any help. Thanks!

 

 

 

EDIT: Nevermind - apparently I did things in the wrong order. I had first removed the weapon's charges without removing the cost which caused the weapon to read empty. When I removed the cost after that, it still read empty but I couldn't recharge it. After that, I put the charges back and kept the cost at 0, and that is when it was taking charges even though cost was zero. To solve the problem, I just removed the charges from the weapon again and it now works properly.
