Sardonnicus Posted March 8, 2013 Share Posted March 8, 2013 The steam workshop is bush league. It's for the casual player who wants to let steam manage their mods. Since there is no load order support, it's kind of like a double edge sword working against you. I used to download some mods from steam, but no longer. The Mod organizer that is available on the nexus is far superior, and if you use it to run and manage BOSS and TES5Edit, you no longer have CTD's. PS. I you do quit the steam workshop, make sure to unsubscribe to all mods from it. Even if you don't visit the steam workshop anymore it will still continue to install any subscribed content no matter where you move your skyrim files to.
