Has the beta been removed? Sounds like you're trying to run Skyrim 1.3.xx with SKSE that is designed to work with Skyrim 1.4.xx

Go to Steam and make sure updates are on and let Skyrim update itself with the full 1.4 patch. then download the latest SKSE again to make sure you have the latest and try again.

I am having this same issue. Steam patched my skyrim to the latest version this morning (1.4 something) and i downloaded and installed the latest SKSE 1_04_08. SKSE is telling me my skyrim is version 1.3.xx I verified the TESV.exe is 1.4.21.0 and have tried the 1_04_09 beta SKSE with the same results. I noticed that I had to manually delete an old 1.3 .DLL file but still no luck. Any solutions would be appreciated. I don't really want to do a reinstall.

Note: i am using skyUI, SkyBoost, other armor/texture mods. No ENB mods.

Thanks

I read something about Skyboost possibly causing it, you might have to disable that.

skyboost search in here, quite a few mentions on the 1.4 problem threads - http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?app=core&module=search&do=search&fromMainBar=1

Probably not needed any more either.

Ok I think i got this figured out. At least for me the problem was with skyboost. I had to remove SkyBoost.asi and dinput8.dll from my skyrim dir. Tested and everything seems to be working includint SkyUI and other mods.

Hope this helps.

I was 1 min late on that reply sry

Ok guys, will try this (removing skboost) and will get back to ya !

Many thanks for all the support, really appreciated !

EDIT:

Effectivly, removing the following two files from my skyrim directory has indeed solve the problem !

- SkyBoost.asi

- Dinput8.dll

Again... many, many thanks guys !
