Changing the colour of a glow texture in a mesh

Hey all

So I am trying to change the glowing runes on the CasStoneBarrier, model name Casstonebarrier01.nif. I have done this before for other meshes many times but cannot for the life of me get this one to change, the blue runes along the stones... I have not been able to figure out how to change them (using Nifscope), I have changed the emissive colours, vertex colours, specular colours... even changed them in the other sections just for good measure, managed to turn the stone purple but not the runes. If anyone can give me a hand I'd really appreciate it. You can find the mesh in the dawnguard dlc BSA.

Thanks!

Some glowmaps are colored in the dds, not in the mesh. Like the Blue dots on the ceiling in Blackreach. Perhaps this is the same case. I'll look into it as soon as I come home from work.

Appreciate it! I did look at the textures the mesh references but they looked colourless. I will take another look!

Sorry, didn't came to it yesterday. I'm currently moving into a new appartement and we decided surprisingly to continue work. If you haven't solved the issue till now I should have time at the evening.

It's all good :). Unfortunately I couldn't work it out, and decided to not spend more time on it as I have other things to get done in my mod :P Already spent 2 hours trying to change a colour.

After some tries and errors I found the solution. You have to remove a branch or I mean I'm sure you don't have to, but I don't know what you would have to configure. After that you can recolor it normaly with the colortag.

and the result in the tests:

But I can't guarantee that you won't mess up something with deleting this branch, my knowledge about meshes is limited for now

It worked, thank you so much for figuring that out. I don't understand meshes much either so can't figure out why that removed branch was preventing the changes made to the glow shader but tested ingame and it doesn't seem to have affected it badly, animations and things still work fine. Cheers friend :)
