Septfox
You're right, almost. My first search turned up $40 for the Zalman, but now I find that Sigant (same people offering the low price on the 631) is offering it for $33.81. The 212 EVO is $31.14. Not really a massive difference.Too bad this is for the Performa model though, not the Extreme. The Crucial memory is also 1.35v. That's why I'm a bit torn between them; the only things that the Samsung has going for that $10 is the higher clock and higher potential clock, both of which turned out to be not as important. The Crucial can probably match its 1600 base clock with minimum overvolting and no timing changes, too.Guess I'll just flip a coin when it's time to order. Like you say, $10 isn't all that much at this point. Ah right, it was a hard drive motor factory that got flooded out or somesuch, right? I was wondering why the prices were so high. Oh well, I'll manage something. eBay might have some 1-2tb models floating around for pre-flood prices too, I haven't checked. Ohoho, "floating around". I'm such a riot. Edit: Aww, it seems that Sigant might be a scam site. Such a shame, they have really nice bait prices. Edited February 5, 2012 by Septfox

It's quieter, performs ~as well, and can mount two fans. Ah right, it was a hard drive motor factory that got flooded out or somesuch, right? I was wondering why the prices were so high. You can google 2011 Thailand floods. For ebay, probably not, it all has been picked by now.
Septfox
Oh. Well. Alright. I guess we're all done here, then. All that's left to do is build my funds up and wait for AMD to get a move on with releasing their new cards. *wanders off*
