Roentgens
You can lower DOF setting in the launcher from Bokeh to Standard, that will give you some FPS but lower quality blur, but you do need DOF to achieve what you are looking for, there is no special INI workaround for it. DOF in general is not that performance heavy, it has only moderate effect on performance. I disabled DOF in my game because I don't like it visually, but if I did have it enabled I would definitely keep it at the Bokeh setting. http://images.nvidia.com/geforce-com/international/comparisons/fallout-4/fallout-4-depth-of-field-interactive-comparison-001-bokeh-vs-standard.html You can reduce computationally expensive settings like godrays, shadow distance, and as a last resort, shadow quality, to gain back some performance. Godrays has a real cinematic presence in specific areas, but if you completely disabled it, you probably won't even notice it. You can gain ~30fps from Ultra setting godrays to disabled in some areas. Godrays is very heavy on tessellation, this is very difficult for even nvidia Maxwell, and even worse for AMD. khassel
thank you so much for all the tips and trix. will absolutely try it. i do runt most of my settings on high and i get around 40fps in generall, ofc it dips from time to time depending on areas and fx, but im ok with that result. for some reason the dof that comes with my enb realy put a big crap on my fps. thats why i turned to dynavision to get my cinematic look. but the blury horizon isnt there with this type of dof. but if i turn the dynavision settings to static instead of dynamic, BAM! the horizon get the crappiness and blur im looking for.
