Sixth House Cult

im am sick of having my sleep disturbed by Sixth House people, even though they r easy to kill, it gets annoying. I remember Caus said that if u wipe out the sixth house base near that city, then they will stop attacking u. Is that true and if so does anybody know the locations of all the sixth house bases?

If they exist, they will attack you. However, after the completion of the Main Quest, there are Awoken Sleepers who are confused, after being removed from Dagoth Ur's poisonous dream-flow. if you talk to them (there's one in most towns) their Disposition rockets and you get a Reputation bump.

Caius meant that there are 'uplinks' that relay Dagoth Ur's dreams. The priests of the local Sixth House shrines relay the dreams to the people of the nearby cities. If you kill the priest of the shrine, you shut off the flow of Dreamers and Sleepers in the city specific to the shrine. The city-shrine relations are as follows:

Subdun: Gnisis, Ald Velothi, Khuul

Hanarai Assurdirapal's basement in Ald'Ruhn: Ald'Ruhn

There are several more installations that may or may not affect the condition of the Dreamers:

Piran

Salmantu

Yakin

Ainab

Maran-Adon

Rissun

Sanit

Sharapli

Missamsi

Abinabi

Bensamsi

Sennananit

Yes. I believe the shrine for Balmora is Anibibi, which is around the area of the Varnat Dissnat Mine. If you kill the ash priest there, then the attacks will stop. And the Dreamers will awake, and you can 'recover' them by talking to them. In Balmora, it is the Dunmer male in a green robe.

To add to cmacs list, their are sixth house shrines in Mamaea, Hassour and Assemanu and in the St Olms or St Delyn Cantons Vivec (can't remember which).

(BTW cmac I don't have Sharapli down as sixth house but as Daedric. Is this my error?)
