stebbinsd
Ok, so I previously requested a mod that lets me keep my empty bottles after drinking a nuka cola, dirty/purified water, or alcohol, so I could continue to re-use the same bottles over and over again when in survival mode to keep my thirst quenched (just like I could in real life). I was recommended the mod "Give Me That Bottle," Found here: http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/13193/? Problem is that it keeps track of what type of bottle I use to make my purified or dirty waters. So if I take take three beer bottles I got in Vault 111, fill them with dirty water, and then take them over to the cooking station, I can't turn them into a single purified water because that recipe requires dirty waters be of the "boxed" variety. Sure, one solution would be to make new recipes to make purified water from all the other containers. But then again, why is it so damn important that I get the exact same type of bottle back that I previously used? They're all the same in terms of weight, value, and how much glass I can get by salvaging them. Their only difference is aesthetic. The only exception is empty milk bottles, which weigh 1.0 whereas every other empty bottle in the game weighs 0.5. But that can easily be worked around. I'd like to see a tweak to "Give Me That Bottle" so that, upon using a bottled liquid, I'll just get a generic "empty bottle" back, regardless of what type of bottle I used to get that drink in the first place. That way, I don't have to constantly keep track of whether I'm using the right containers to fill with dirty water so that I can turn it all into purified water later on. While we're at it, I'd like to see the recipe to turn 3 dirty waters into purified water have a minor tweak to it, so that it also provides 2 empty bottles & 1 purified water. That way, I never lose a bottle. Anyone else second this request?
