Sounds of Skyrim not working; googled and did almost everything, still to no avail.

I'm fairly new here to nexus mod forums. So I have a problem on sounds of skyrim. I already searched almost everything and I still couldn't find a solution so I'm posting in the nexus forums in hopes soneone could help me out.

On Climates of Tamriel, LOOT gave me this error

Due to conflicts between Sounds of Skyrim - Civilization and ClimatesOfTamriel.esm it is recommended you use the appropriate compatibility patch found here.

And I've already used the compatibility patch by installing it thru NMM.

So when I go to town, I can hear some of the background noise (People just talking), but what I can't hear is the people from the pub...

Never used SoS, so thsi is just a general advice: Read the descriptions very carefully and make sure you got everything installed in the correct order. Especially with conflicting mods, load order matters.

 

On a sidenote: Which version of CoT are you using? The weather patches were made for 3.1. Not sure if they work with the current version 5 of CoT. From what I've seen so far, CoT 5 works quite well without any additional patches. You should also make sure you're using the correct version of CoT for the compatibility patches.
