dacekonn
Hey. First of all I do not know nothing about moding.I plan to give a try to CK when it comes out.I program in C# language and use Blender for modeling so maybe I will manage to do something. You can use any of the ideas for you own use - "let’s make a game we all love". I don't like answers like "use the console" - if I would like to use it i would not write those ideas in the first place.Using console isn't part of the gameplay - it's a debugging/cheating tool - if a console gives a solution to problemit means that it could have been made in the game with minimal effort and developers didn't thought about it/ thought it is non-necessary.If it can be made with console it means it probably can be made as mod so it won't break my immersion and fun.Game should be completed (either by developers or modes) so a player won't use console commands. 1. Navigator - Compass overhaul modLet’s remove the compass from UI and make it a part of the world.Make compass be drown in the sky right above the character.Maybe make it appear after a while so it won't be there all the time.Make it literally be drown on the sky - a huge compass wheel. It should point also where do you need to go.It may be good idea for night - maybe it will be visible only during clear nights.Maybe additionally there could be some indication on the horizon (less accurate). 2. Battles battles Add some additional NPC in battles. It feels bad to fight for the city with 5-8 guards.People post on YouTube vids showing how they spawn with console a 50vs50 battles and it looks great. It should be easy i think. 3. A character with character There were a few topics on similar matter.People wanted a "good character" or an alternative to "dark brotherhood" quests. I think that Skyrim (and maybe other tittles form TES) are lacking ROLE PLAYING in their RolePlayingGame formula.More i play more i feel it's a more like "expanded hack'n'slash".I want choices (even if there are "illusion of choices"). So it would be nice to have a game with a option to:- refuse some quests- say more characterized responses I’m tired of the "consider it done", "the fort is as good as yours", "I will do it" etc. I want some more immersive dialogues. I want to be able to say "yes" and "no" in few ways so it would feel like I’m playing some character - not accepting quests from NPC like in Diablo.- alternative quests or alternative objectives Maybe as series of mods - making little changes one at a time.I think that a possibility of better dialogues as text is better than “flat” dialogues with voiceovers.I have played old RPG games where a NPC had only simple “hello” voiceover and everything else needed to be read. It kills immersion a little bit but not as much like being a obedient puppy or characterless punching muscle bag. 4. Movable carts, ships etc. maybe also useable 5. Crossbow 6. Animal Ken skill tree Able to befriend with the animals.Maybe little beast master abilities.Maybe add some shouts to this mechanics.A shout for lessen the aggression of the animal - in higher levels it would befriend/charm/scare off them.A shout to call wildlife allies - in higher levels you buy a perk and get a possibility to call animals to your aid - every animal in the radius MAY respond to it 7. More wildlife (maybe related to above) More birds, neutral wildlife, small wildlife. It would be great to see aggressive flocks, weak but strong in numbers.Birds eating corpses.Birds singing.More deer’s, rabbits. It is not a polluted modern day earth – it should be full of life.
