Grailius
Am working on a mod but need a couple of specific changes made to one mesh in oblivion. The mesh in question is meshes/architecture/imperialcity/interiors/icpalacelibraryupper01.nif The changes needed are the scrolls within the case need to be removed, and the golden doors either removed or hinged. I have used nifscope to do this but there still seems to be a collision where the doors were and the shelves do not apparently contain enough collision to hold books in an upright fashion. the file will need to be renamed as it is not a change to the original library but an entirely new structure. Preferably grpalacelibraryupper01.nif as I use gr to denote any file change I have made for modding purposes. I have aquired blender and the import tool for nifs however I cannot find how to make these changes when the file is converted into a .blend file. If anyone is willing to make these changes or tutor me in the changes it would be greatly appreciated and credit will be given in the release of the mod. Thanks for any help in advance.Grailius
Grailius
Correction to that. I should say that rather than remove the front collisions they need to be moved to the back of the case and shelves. I just noticed in one of my trials that the front f the case is the only part of it with collision.
Grailius
Ok perhaps this would be easier... meshes/architecture/imperialcity/interiors/icpalacelibraryupper02.nif would work if the lighting fixture were removed. the chain and basket that hold the fire. I attempted to do this myself in nifscope, but it seems that other portions of the room were either the parent of or child to this fixture. Removing it resulted in the removal of them as well and that turned the entire section of room into swiss cheese. Any way to remove it without the resulting loss of other portions of the mesh?
