Immersive Civil War Guards

Howdy, y'all! As an avid player of Skyrim, both Oldrim and Newrim, one thing that always bugged me is just how much the Civil War ruins the immersion. So I came up with an idea for a mod that I think would vastly improve the realism and value of the Civil War. Please note that I don't really care about credit or anything like that; I'm just a Skyrim fan who has zero skill at modding, but would like to see this come about. If any of y'all are good modders, feel free to take the credit, just as long as a PC-version of this mod is made.

1. All Imperial-aligned guards use Imperial swords with the hold shields (will require a Winterhold shield to be made) and Imperial bows. Imperial minor hold guards will wear the standard guard cuirass and helmet with Imp Light Bracers and Boots. Imperial major hold guards will wear the standard guard outfits with Steel Imperial Gauntlets and Steel Shin Boots (got the Idea from the vanilla Solitude Guards).

2. All Stormcloak-aligned guards would use Steel one-handed weapons with the hold shields (again, requiring a Winterhold shield for the sake of consistency and immersion) or Steel two-handed weapons, with all guards using Hunting Bows. Stormcloak minor hold guards will wear the standard guard outfits plus Fur Boots and Gauntlets. Stormcloak major hold guards will wear the standard guard outfits with Steel Nordic Gauntlets and Steel Cuff Boots (got the idea from what the opposite of Solitude would look like).

3. When it comes to which guards get the Padded cuirasses and which ones get the Scaled cuirasses, the vanilla game appears to be entirely random and nonsensical. The Scaled cuirasses would technically provide better armor, but they would also be more costly. The Empire could afford that; the Stormcloaks could not. So all Imperial guards would get the Scaled guard armor, and all Stormcloak guards get the Padded guard armor.

4. Perhaps the greatest irritation of the Civil War is the fact that no matter who you side with, you will lose half of the awesome hold colors (Imps will lose the badass blue of Windhelm, while the Rebels lose the awesome green of Markarth, for example). No more. Using Whiterun as an example, no matter which side controls it, the guards will always use the standard Whiterun equipment and shields, with the only changes being in the weapons used and what type of boots and gloves they're wearing.

5. Finally, so as to make the guards NOT totally useless during a dragon or Vampire attack, all guards AND Civil War soldiers are scaled up to level 20, at which point their level scales with the player. This will both make them more useful, and add a little more challenge to the Civil War questline. In addition, the guard armor, Stormcloak soldier armor, and Imperial Light armor are equal to Elven, with the Studded Imperial armor and Scale cuirasses equal to Elven +2. For the sake of consistency, Stormcloak Officer armor should be increased to Scale armor, and Imperial Heavy armor should be equal to Steel Plate (with the Officer's helmet and full face-plate helmet increased to Steel Plate +1 and 2 respectively).

Hope y'all found this idea to be well-thought-out and intriguing! If anybody thinks they can make this mod, please do so. I for one would LOVE to see this mod in action. I have also posted this mod idea to the forums on bethesda.net, so if anyone would also like to make a console-version of this mod, feel free to do so.
