agerweb
A patch is a separate mod that changes another mod. Changing a mod and reuploading it is stealing and the nexus does not allow that.

Xiusa
If you goto the creation kit wiki it has tutorials about using the ck to create mods. Www.creationkit.comFiguring out how to do it properly now, thanks. After loading up the mod in the CK and making the changes, would I have to make duplicates of the weapons and their stats to make the changes or is changing the data straight up fine? agerweb
I would be inclined to make duplicates and change them, then there is still the option of using the originals. Have to give them different names though otherwise players won't no which is which.
Xiusa
I would be inclined to make duplicates and change them, then there is still the option of using the originals. Have to give them different names though otherwise players won't no which is which.Well the point is that it overrides the original stats to keep them in line with another mod that makes stat changes to rare weapons. It's not to add a different, and much weaker, version. I'm also running into multiple other problems when using it in-game; weapon models in the inventory do not show up, instead they use the model of whatever I last viewed such as a roughspun tunic. Another is that one, and ONLY one, weapon's stats do not change at all. Anything that does have its stats changed also happens to be missing its inventory model. Xiusa
This is the problem I am experiencing. It is pretty much the only thing broken with the patch which otherwise works. https://imgur.com/a/w3OxQ
