Zakariyas Posted February 5, 2012 Share Posted February 5, 2012 I noticed there are already a lot of Vampire mods out there, however I find most appear somewhat incomplete. I would love to see a thorough and complete mod that would truly enhance the play style for Vampire characters. My mod request would include the following: - Create a “true feed” ability that is usable while stealthed, which could be used to stealth kill opponents. It would be amazing if it was possible to create a cinematic kill sequence for this as well.- When feeding on a sleeping NPC, the Vampire should be able to choose to kill the NPC.- Allow Vampire characters the ability to feed on NPC corpses to heal / feed.- Health regeneration at 0% in sunlight and only 25% at night. Health must be regenerated through feeding off enemies and / or corpses.- Reverse the current system, the more feeding should make the Vampire more powerful. Vampires should weaken if they go without feeding, not become stronger.- Vampires should move at speeds equal to the transformed werewolf.- Night Sight should be permanent. (Toggle On/Off)- Increase fire weakness to 25% / 50% / 75% / 100%. Frost resistence should be equal to the weakness to fire.- Vampire Seduction should work up to level 25, cooldown should remain the same.- Truly Undead - Vampires should not be able to drown and should be immune to disease, although given the magical nature of poisons, Vampires should only be 50% resistant to poison.- Add active effect: Children of the Night - Wolves and Skeever will not attack unless attacked first.- Vampiric Drain should absorb 10/15/20/25 points of health. (Instead of 2/3/4/5.) Magicka cost should be equal to health drained.- Vampiric Strength should increase all melee attack damage by 20%.- Vampires would no longer receive any rest bonuses. World Additions:- Addition of a coffin / dirt mound in Player character’s cellar and other locations that would be usable for rest.- Creation of a Vampire Covenant (similar to the Dark Brotherhood), including quests, unique NPCs. Feel free to comment / critique / add to these ideas. Just a reminder, the objective of this mod would not be to make Vampires significantly more powerful, but rather to make the experience of playing a Vampire in Skyrim more complete and interesting. I would also add the ability to gain powers by drinking the blood of another vampire, and the ability to transform into mist, so that you can be invisible and also enter into the locked doors. I particularly like the idea of the vampire coven, maybe with special vampire items, like armor that protects against silver (maybe the silver hand can be part of this questline too), a hood that detects life, or a amulet that protects its user from the sunlight. Maybe a dagger that drains the life of enemies directly to the player. And perhaps a paralysis daily power. I haven't experienced everything in the questlines, so I don't know if the silverhand are disbanded by the companions. If so, that would create a bit of a continuity error. Look for "Vampire Upgrade" created by Undomir. His/Her mod is pretty damn good and includes the following: - QUOTE - -Vampiric Drain absorb 10/15/20/25 points of health. (Instead of 2/3/4/5.) Magicka cost is 10 points per second at all stages. (Only when destruction skill is at 15.) -Vampire's Seduction calm enemies up to lvl 43. (Instead of lvl 10.) -Vampire's Sight last forever until toggled off. (Instead of 60 seconds.) -Vampiric Strength increases melee attack damage by 20% (both one-handed and two-handed) and unarmed strikes damage by 15 points. -Embrace of Shadows gives Muffle effect instead of the Night Eye effect. -Vampire's Servant duration is permanent. (Instead of 60 seconds.) It reanimates corpses up to lvl 8/16/25/35. (Instead of 6/13/21/30.) -Missing Dread Cloak power now available during all stages. -Fixed a bug that let vampire regenerate magicka, health and stamina in sunlight at stage 3. (Was set to 75% slower regenerate rate instead of 100%.) -Nightstalker's Footsteps correctly give 25% bonus to sneaking. (It was 20% by default.) -Vampires can swim underwater without drowning. -Movement speed is increased by 15/20/25%. (Depends on the esp. file. Choose only one.) -Sunlight affects vampires from 6 am to 7 pm. (Instead of 5 am to 7 pm.) Vampire Upgrade Reverse version reverses vampire powers and abilities. At stage 1 frost resistance is at 100% and Vampire's Servant reanimates a very powerful dead body and so on. Weakness to sunlight and fire remains the same. - UNQUOTE - The most significant thing missing remains the concept of a "true feed". I have noticed this attempted on other mods, however it does not appear to have been perfected (this may change following the release of the CK).I Would love to see a serious modder out there create a workable feed function as I previously discussed.
