janaseca
The idea is simple, just a tool to complement alchemy. :) Now you can buy/find some seeds or younger plants in the world. You can buy some structures to plant, etc. Maybe you can "cultivate" some animals too, like insects (bees, etc). Some plants will grow after 5 days, other rare plants will need 10 days to grow. You will need to give them water and maybe some fertilizer? lolAnyway, this can be just a simple mod or a really big one, as big as your creativity/imagination. gotenwarrior61
I think something like this would be pretty satisfying. I enjoy roleplaying the modest farmer who has a bigger calling. I also had a mod similar to this in Oblivion a few years ago where I made an entire farm in The Heartland countryside near the Blue Road. For this mod in particular, I think you just needed to have the ingredient and plant it... I don't remember how and I am having a hard time trying to locate the mod on tesnexus... and then smallest stage of the plant would appear and you wait a few days and then harvest. I also found a very shady spot under some cover of rocks to grow Carin Bolen Caps, which I would combine with my Wheat from the vast farmland and viola! A renewable supply of home-brewed health potions.
magnemoe
Yes it was an gardener mod, it let you plant plants who grew and became standard plants after some days, Fun mod, however it required you to stay away from the field in 3 days for your plants to respawn. In Skyrim this will be 10 days, see only two ways to solve this, either add an script on each planted plant who let it respawn after 3-10 days independent of how much you visit the cell or run a script who reset the cell, this would requite that you have a specific farm. hiei248
I would deeply enjoy a farming/gardening mod!I dont think it would be too terribly difficult to implement and could be Huge if you implemented it in a runescape-eque sort of way. Deleted3463132User
I am pretty sure that with the CK someone will figure it out. I have no idea why Beth did not incorporate this in their game! But what I would really like was that you would have to go to a college to learn how to garden. And yes the school/college should have quests. But you should NOT be able to lea the school/college! Just my 2 cents -DragonbornP
janaseca
@DragonbornP that's a good idea. I would really enjoy just a farming/gardening mod like the ppl said before. But if we add a story and quests, I'm sure that will be really nice. all this could start talking to the librarian Urag gro-Shub in the college, we could ask if he know anything special about herbs. Then he could say "There is a guy X bla bla bla..." This guy X could be a druid like alchemist living isolated in the deep forest, he will give you additional quests and teach you a bit of his ancient knowledge about the balance of life and how to cultivate (plants, bees, etc). Anyway I think I'm abit high on skooma lol ;)
