Getting started creating mods using GECK feedback

Don't fret. I didn't take you as "dissing" anything.

 

I'm just as prone as anyone to wanting things to be as simple as possible, but have the experience to realize what we want isn't what reality presents us with. If I could see a way to make the subject more accessible I would. But as I can't that's no reason to not be willing to help anyone else who thinks they can do better. Just as there is more than one way to code a problem. It's a "community effort" for a reason.

Not much added this time. - Recent additions since 24 Apr:
* Updated scripting tips about naming.
* Added 'Custom NPCs' TIP about AI Packages.
* Added 'Community GECK Wiki' site link to "Tools and Programs". Note: Most GECK links are still to the older, official Bethesda site.

Nice work dubious.

 

The community GECK wiki is the only place for GECK that will be updated anymore, since bethesda requires us to at least 5 captcha puzzles for each edit and it's just too much. Everything is local as much as possible and doesn't link back to the official site.

 

All the links to the tes4 ckit should be fixed now and the articles directly in the wiki, we'll continue working on it as time allows.
