Enclave Armor Inventory Crash

I'm having a strange problem that no amount of experimenting in FO3Edit has fixed. Looting Enclave Power Armor causes my game to crash. If I'm really quick with autoloot then I can avoid the crash, until I look at the armor in my inventory. I can use my inventory just fine, but as soon as my mouse highlights any type of Enclave armor, or helmet, it causes an instant crash.

 

Does anyone know what could cause an item to work fine in the world, but crash the inventory? If I knew what data was only checked when an item is in the inventory and loot menus it would give me a clue where to look.

 

I thought it might have been one of the power armor mods I'm using, but the Brotherhood and Outcast armors work just fine, and I manually disabled the COL Enclave mods by overwriting their changes with FO3Edit. Still crashed.

 

I suspect that the problem might be from an icon pack I installed, but I don't have the original icons. I think the ones I need are in Fallout 3\Data\textures\interface\icons\pipboyimages\apparel. If anyone has the originals and would be willing to email me the enclave ones from that folder I would be forever grateful.

 

Edit 1: Well, I copied and renamed the icons for the normal power armor to replace the Enclave icons. Then changed something with FO3Edit, (not even sure what at this point) that stopped me from being able to load the game at all. Now when I load the game I hear the sounds, and see the background, but the menu never loads.

 

Edit 2: Recovered previous version of the folder. Re-replaced Enclave icons. Can load my game again, but it still crashes on attempting to loot Enclave armor or helmet.
