Welcome to Tesnexus

First, this is not a chat room. Most of the regulars are only on the site for an hour or less every day. Be patient, your questions will be answered but obviously not as quick as you would like.

Second. the mods ONLY work on the PC version. for both legal and technical reasons.

The legal is the console makers forbid anything they have not sold to be installed on their boxes. This makes for a very stable but limited game. You play the game the way they want you to, not the way you want to.

Technical - The consoles are all locked. They have made it extremely difficult if not impossible to run third party mods. There is no mechanism in place to do that. The console version of the game will not recognize mods, and therefore cannot run them. I have not heard of any workarounds for this.

In return for being able to mod the PC, you get more crashes.

If you are thinking of downloading a cracked version. Don't be a cheapskate - buy the game. It's worth it. Many of the cracked versions come with other problems. Plus many still can't run the mods or be upgraded with a patch.

Also, don't get the D2D version (internet downloaded legal version) as it has some encryption that will not allow the latest patches to be installed.

Hi there. As other posters have said, bumping a post is a breach of forum rules and etiquette. Don't worry this time, everyone has to learn, but do check out the rules.

If downloading mods, be aware that a few can seriously affect game performance and some conflict with others. Always read the readmes! This won't pick up everything but it's a start.

Welcome.
