Macrophobic
I really hate about 1/4 of vanilla clothing items, so currently I'm replacing them with stuff from standalone mods or my own retextures of existing items. I noticed "Suspenders and Slacks" (one of triggermen outfits I'm just trying to replace, and rename of course), instead of using just diffuse, normal and specular map, is using 4 paths, the fourth path is: textures\Clothes\Mobsters\Mobster2_palette_d.dds (in Outfit Studio it's named "Parallax"). What does it actually do? Some time ago I tried to recolor BoS combat armors, but I noticed they use palettes and I couldn't figure out how it works (and how to change it without conflicts with Custom Combat Armor). But this is only some piece of clothing, what's so special about this outfit? There is only one color version in vanilla game.
