Freaky_Freddy
Hi, I live in France and i'm thinking of buying the DVD version of Skyrim, but i don't want to play it in french. Is it possible to change Skyrim's language (text and dialogue) to english when using the DVD version? Thank you in advance!
micalov
All versions of Skyrim use steam, it should be possible by switching your language settings, simu;lar to how ppl get Japanese audio with English subs, like .
Banditbois
I own a Spanish copy and are currently playing in English. You have to change the language in steam library/ game properties and choose the desired language. Once you choose English it will download the required files, probably took me 30/40 minutes. Rennn
This would probably negatively affect mods that alter dialogue, right?

Fisrion
Actually it doesn´t matter wether you buy Skrim on the DVD or on the Steam Shop. The only thing that makes you own the game is the key that comes with the DVD and allows you to register the game to your Steam Account. The only difference is that you don´t need to download the whole game from steam but have a DVD from which you can install a part of the game (you will have to download all the patches and the language files, though). Changing the language is no problem in the PC version...consoles can´t change the language.
