traalshek Posted February 6, 2012 Share Posted February 6, 2012 So, I have looked around a bit and found nothing on a mod or even a discussion of one for the dragon Temeraire. For those who may not know of this dragon, he is set in a series of books set in the Napoleonic era by Naomi Novik. Temeraire is a Celestial dragon which means he has the power known as the Divine Wind (Just think of Fus-ro-dah times 50 or something like that). So, I would like to see a mod with Temeraire or even with the other dragon species from the book series. There is a whole slew of them with different abilities, sizes, weights, speeds, and intellect. This would even expand the amount of dragons in the game itself :D Another idea, though a much harder one, would be to incorporate the combat style from the books into Skyrim. The setting would not need to be copied over, but rather just the part of dragons fighting in the air with their crews (or it can be simplified to just one rider). Arrows would be shot trying to kill enemy crew members and boarders would take that extra leap of faith to try to capture the dragon (this is normally done by threatening the rider of the dragon since the dragon usually has an emotional bond with its rider)... Of course you could just kill the crew and the dragon as well hah. Anyways, I wanted to throw that out there for you awesome modders!
