Would I need to message each mod author for permission, if all I posted was a link to their own mod page, and not the mod itself?

I'd post it as an attachment, though. 2) I wouldn't think so, because it is basically free advertising and publicity for their mods :biggrin:. Just make sure you credit them for their work, and you should be fine.
