Need Blender and nifscipt clarity

Hi everyone,

 

I realize that there is already some discussion regarding that topic, but I could really need some clarity regardind the nifscript problematic. I have read very contraversial statements regarding that topic and quite frankly I don't understand it completly. Since this is the last night before the CK madness breaks loose i figured that I better ask those questions now:

 

I decided to get into modelling and got in touch with Blender 2.5 because some friends recommended it to me. I'm still in the learning process and since I love the modding possibilities skyrim has to offer I have to deal with that import export for the version 2.5+ for importing and exporting. This leaves me to my first question: Where can I find updates about the progression regarding Nifscript for Blender 2.5

 

I know the Blender Export-Import tutorial (http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=3790) but I was and still am learning Blender 2.5 (got books and DVDs for that version) for several reasons and not blender 2.49b which is used in that tutorial.

 

Next up I'm toying around with Blender a little and just to see how it works out I used Nifskope to import the werewolf model as obj into Blender 2.6. I toyed around with it for a while and did some changes to his head and shoulders. Is there a way to open the file in Blender 4.9 and then exportt it proberly? When i open the Blendfile with 4.9 I only get a cube....
