Need A Better Armored Vault Suit

I love the armored vault suit, but it needs more armor on it to make it a viable alternative to other armors throughout the game. What I'd like to see is the vault suit armored with piecemeal armor, similar to how it is. What I think it needs are

  1. A right shoulder pad, the one from the leather armor looks good, though the tire from the raider armor would work.
  2. Something across the chest, be it armor, bags (like the from the male merc adventurer outfit) or some other contrivance, just something to make it look like there's armor there.
  3. Some reinforcement in the legs. Knee pads, greaves (shin guards), cuisses (thigh guards).

Things I'd like to see kept though is the base vault suit being visible in places, most particularly in the number, even if only part of it is visible. The original armor parts can be removed if something better is available. I'd also like it to not use DLC parts if possible, but if not then that's fine, but it should use only vanilla textures. It should also preferably work with male and female (vanilla) bodies, but male only would be fine.

I accidentally deleted the other picture, so I'll post my updated work here.

The cuisse doesn't fit properly. It clips with the bags hanging from the belt, and it has this metal piece on the back that looks really weird.

The metal piece on the left leg fits pretty well, there's no real clipping on it at all, but the strap around the boot sits about 2 inches out from the boot, which just looks weird. You can also see the better vambrace that I added from another armor. They're bigger and better armored looking and I think they're about the only part I like so far.

Kind of like leather armor here. Except that I shrunk the right shoulder pad to get the rest of the mesh to line up correctly, and that makes it look a bit weird. I also added that second belt on there, which I think looks better, but it clips with the belt objects from the left shoulder pad belt.

As you can see, it doesn't look bad, but it still isn't really what I'd like to have.

Here's a download link for the meshes I've done here.
