Ganynn
Hey there all, I dabbled a little bit with modding in oblivion but nothing more complicated than making a house and custom weapons/spells etc. With Skyrim's creation kit releasing tomorrow and the new features of it, I hope I can get really in-depth with modding this time around. However, I have no clue where to start. =/ I will be sure to check out the wiki that is being released alongside the construction set but I don't expect to go to far into depth. For now I was curious if anyone could point me in the right direction to where I can learn a little more about modding and how it's done. I hope to create some quests as well as new areas in game, and am curious how hard it is to learn to do. Also, I understand there is a scripting language that was created for the Creation Kit and I am curious as to what this is used for and how hard it is to learn to use (I have NO knowledge of scripting languages in the least.). Thanks in advance to anyone who can lend a hand, Brynn
Werne
Search Fallout 3/New Vegas GECK tutorials, as far as I've seen, it's the same thing with more options. By the way, modding is not hard, it's actually easy when you get used to it. Edited February 7, 2012 by Werne
