Jakeins90
Hey everyone! Long time user, first time posting! So I have been putting little hideaway survivalist shacks all over the commonwealth lately using Conquest. I have gotten kind of obsessed with finding perfect spots. Well there is a water tower just outside of Starlight drive-in. Its just off the railroad tracks at Bedford station (picture wouldn't upload). I had an idea to edit that as a prefab for settlement building or to put on a roof in a city. It shouldn't take much editing to the mesh, it just needs a broken bit for a doorway and maybe some "windows". I have used Blender for years, and it wouldn't be hard to do for me. But every tutorial I have been able to find requires that I use 3ds max to import/export the mesh, and I refuse to pay $185 a month for something I am only going to use for importing and exporting. So to get to the point, If there is another way to import/export meshes without needing 3ds, can someone kick down some wisdom for me? And if there isn't, I would like to know exactly what I need to do in Blender to the mesh/textures/collision (I can handle that), so that I can have someone who does have 3ds to throw it in a stand-alone for me? Then we could have it on the nexus for all to use! Thanks in advance! Edited April 16, 2017 by Jakeins90
