driedupfish
So, I have lots of mods installed and I plan to remove all of them and start over (now that the CK has come out). Is it enough to just disable all the .esp in the skyrim launcher and delete them in the data folder? As for the texture packs, I can simply delete the mesh and texture folder, right? Or do I have to do a clean reinstall? Note that not all the mods and install through the nexus mod manager, so I'll have to manually uninstall some of them, which can be a hassle. kromey
I would suggest making a backup of your saves and your current Data folder before proceeding -- sometimes removing a previously-loaded mod can cause issues with saves (although in my experience it's limited to a warning message to the effect of "Some items may not load!" and then no real effect other than, well, those mod-created items not loading). But yes, you've got the right idea -- delete the plugin .esp files (and .esm files, if applicable -- NOT Skyrim.esm or Update.esm, though!), delete anything you've added to any subfolders in your your Data folder (e.g. textures and meshes), and you're done.
