NEXUS Mods won't load.

Win10, AMD 6300, 16Gb RAM, NVidia 950 and the Creative internal sound card with the fancy volume dial. It has always crashed every once in a while playing Skyrim; I downloaded the SIV utility and discovered the CPU was getting stupid hot - still ~78C after the reload. It had the POS AMD air cooler with one dinky li'l fan, I installed a water cooler and it's run much better; but it still crashes every now 'n then, there seems to be a line running north through the map, from just west of Falkreath through Lake Ilinalta, the Whiterun Plains cause me no trouble, but then just west of Morthal and through the Morthal swamp, crossing that line is good for an instant doubling of the fan speed on the new cooler and it often still crashes there. The AMD 6300 is bad for graphics-intensive (or just Bethesda, maybe) games, it has 6 cores - but four of them do nothing but process graphics.

This system has always been Win10, and certain mods will not go any further than the 'Download Manager' box in the bottom of the Nexus Mods Manager; notably Vilja. Helgen Reborn loaded initially, I played it ~all the way through, then I started it again to hook-up with Cienna (nice little girl, fine fighter and not a Lolita). This time through, my system started crashing - and crashing - and crashing; not a crash-to-desktop, neither; full black-screen-to-reboot and a loud buzzing sound. I unloaded the mod and it stopped crashing, but now Helgen Reborn won't reload. I tried two more today, based on a MXR review - The Kids Are Alright, and Zim's (I think) Improved weapons, 'n stuff. Neither of them will load.

The mods I have include Clockwork Castle; loaded first try, has never given any trouble, but I would HATE to try unloading and reinstalling it, I betcha it wouldn't come back. Anybody have any idea what's up with this? I'd be willing to bet most of the mods were Win7 or XP - any idea if Win10 doesn't like them?

Thanks!
